CHAPTER 12

THE BEGINNING OF THE END

I suppose the writing was on the wall for me and Amanda for maybe the last five years and in March 2013 she finally had the courage to get up and leave me. Amanda leaving me probably saved both our lives, although I didn’t see it like that at the time. One day me and her had been smoking our brains out on the pipe and we’d spent all the mortgage money yet again.

As I’ve told you all earlier in the book I thought she was worse than me and vice-versa. Today in 2020 I don’t want to look back and blame her for any of it because a lot of it was my own doings but at times Amanda stole money.

How she actually left me is a very comical story, what she did was she spiked me by putting sleeping tablets in my drink so she could knock me out, get her stuff and fuck off which is exactly what she did and I’ve never seen her or my adopted son Jordan since, I brought that kid up from the age of four years of age.

Before Amanda left she stole things out of the house and even money out of rooms, not to mention £650 which she cleared out of my bank account. If you’re reading this Amanda I don’t blame you and I can understand why you did it but one of the things you tell people about me is I’m a “no-good crack-head.” Well the day you left me I know you went to a girls we both know and you bought an 8th of crack cocaine so that wasn’t through any involvement with me was it? Apparently you were being pulled down by me and my sinking ship but even when you’d left me you yourself were going to buy the stuff!!! Even a week later she was ringing my friends Phil and Gemma telling them she was off her head and could they pick her up! She apparently asked both for £200 because she was at her sisters down South and she wanted to come home but Phil told her that they wouldn’t lend her the money but they’d buy her a train ticket! In the end she didn’t take up Phil’s offer because it was all bullshit. She just wanted the £200 for more gear. I think even one of them even told Amanda, “I thought it was Brian keeping you on the crack?” I’m not sure how
